I am registered with the agency, Psychology Today
the work I do
I do face-to-face work with the child, student or adult, preferrably in their school, home or work setting
I use standardized academic and intelligence tests to assess the client's skills
I write psychological reports that can be used to improve special educational needs support arrangements for the client
I specialize in dyslexia, general learning difficulties and neuro-divergent learning styles. I give advice on school placement
Some parents want the clarity of an IQ test to describe their child's strengths and relative weaknesses
I write books
I have published a set of workbooks aimed at children with exceptionally weak number skills. The books rely on precision teaching, overlearning and the spatial visualization of number. They help children who struggle to become numerate. Parents, teachers or support assistants can act as the coach who delivers the program of learning.
